Support Page: Retroflection

From 1 Januari 2010 till the 1 Januari 2018 a daily “agile retroflection of the day” tweet was scheduled on the @Retroflection account
For a total of 2.917 coaching questions or statements that had the intention to make people think.
Statement that were invented by 94 different people.

As I found it a shame that these statement would be lost, I created the Retroflection iOS app.

The current version of the app, has 2 pages.

The question page and the settings page

The question page

The question page, shows 1 retroflection. In the MVP version if you want to see another one, you have to shake the device or close the app and reopen the app.
Below are a few screenshot of possible retroflections and how they look on the screen.

Settings screen:

The settings app has three parts.

The upper part shows information of your device device. Which can only be changed at device level (outside the retroflection app)

The middle part shows information of the current version of the app.
This can only be changed by downloading a different version of the app.
Version one has 2.9.17 English retroflections, they are all preloaded in the app.
You can not change them and they are downloaded as part the app, you can not download additions retroflection.
The front end of the app has been translated in 10 different languages. (Translated by the grace of community friends like: Gitte Klitgaard, Marcin Floryan, Matteo Vaccari, Aria Omidvar, Ilan Kirschenbaum). The retroflections are only in English and there is no intention to translate them.
The app uses the main language that has been set by changing the language of the device.

The lower part are the user settings of the app.
You can decide to schedule notifications.
When you turn on notifications in the app, you will get a one time questions to give permission for the app to send notifications. If this is declined, you can no longer get that permission in the app (this is a security feature of iOS), then you have to change the settings on the device settings.
Once notifications are turned on, you can select the time the notifications will be send out.
The next time, when it is this time, a random retroflection will be send out.
In the current version you can only see that notification, you can’t open it in the app. That is for a future version.
